God Sees You

“She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me,’ for she said, ‘I have now seen the One who sees me.’’— Genesis 16:13

We’ve all had a day or two when we’ve felt invisible. Maybe someone waved in our direction and we waved back, only to realize they were greeting the person behind us.

Or maybe we were cut off in traffic, or skipped in a line, as if we simply weren’t there. If I’m honest, I find these moments super annoying and super embarrassing. Oh, you weren’t waving at me, complete stranger? My bad!

But here’s the beautiful truth: God never overlooks us. He sees us, fully and deeply. He’s always present, even on our hardest, loneliest days, to listen, comfort, and guide.

So if you’re feeling invisible today, let this be your reminder: you’re not. Your heavenly Father sees you, knows you, and loves you. You are never invisible, and you are never alone.
